Ireta is a private app for you and your closest people. We collect only what we need to make the app work, we never sell your data, and your content stays inside your tribe.

2. What Information We Collect
Account information
Ireta supports Sign in with Apple and email/password authentication. We store a unique user ID and, optionally, your email to identify your account.
Content you create
- Tribe names, invite codes, and member lists
- Profile nicknames, taglines, and photos
- Book pages including text and photos
- Skills, ratings, votes, and points balances
- Comments, polls, rankings, favorites, events, bulletins, and Peanut Gallery slides
Purchase data
Point packs and plan purchases are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We receive confirmation of successful purchases and store your points balance. We never see or store your payment card information.
Usage data
We use Firebase (Google) for our backend, which may collect basic crash reports to help us fix bugs. We do not use this data for advertising.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To create and maintain your account
- To display your content to members of your tribe
- To manage your points balance and tribe plan access
- To send push notifications about tribe activity (only if you grant permission)
- To improve app stability and respond to support requests
We never use your data for advertising, build advertising profiles, or sell your data to any third party.
4. Who Can See Your Content
Your content is private to your tribe. Only members with the correct invite code can access that tribe's content. Invite codes expire after 30 days for your security. We never make tribe content publicly visible.
5. Third-Party Services

We do not integrate any advertising networks, data brokers, or analytics platforms beyond the above.
6. Data Retention
Your data is retained while your account exists. If you request deletion we will remove your personal data within 30 days. Deleted content may persist in backups for up to 90 days before being fully purged.
7. Children's Privacy
Ireta is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. Contact us at iretahelp@yahoo.com if you believe a child under 13 has used Ireta.
8. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data. Email iretahelp@yahoo.com and we will respond within 30 days.
9. Security
We use encrypted data transmission, Firebase security rules, Apple authentication, and expiring invite codes to protect your information and your tribe.
10. Changes to This Policy
When we make significant changes we will notify you through the app. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.

12. DMCA Copyright Policy
Ireta respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users of our platform to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), we will respond to notices of alleged copyright infringement that comply with applicable law.
If you believe that content available through Ireta infringes your copyright, please send a written notice to our designated Copyright Agent containing the following:
- A description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed
- A description of where the infringing material is located within the app
- Your contact information (name, address, phone number, and email)
- A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf
- Your physical or electronic signature
